Concerning the request to change Idaho Powers Rate of Compensation for Solar o èn
My name is Mike Lindenberg,I live at 6586 S.Jessenia Ave.Boise Idaho
On 6/25/2021 I Purchased solar power under the current reimbursement rates, there waitid Sn or
did I have any indication that the rates could change.
I believed that I was helping supply power to the grid as a benefit to myselfand also Idaho Power.
I never would have installed the solar power on my roof if I had known Idaho Power was going to renig
on the rates, not only reducing what I receive for power that they intern sell but also reduce it even
further when it is the best time frame for producing power and then giving a higher rate in the evening
when solar power is at its weakest point.
Then also the grandfather ending on 12/20/2019,what is that about?
If the new rates are approved it should start if and when the Utility Commission Approves it not 2019.
Idaho Power has no investment on my solar system, all they have is to profit off of c.
I spent $19,046.00on my system and any repairs or maintenance on my system comes out of my
pocket not Idaho Powers
It is only fair to Grandfatherany home installed before this is approved,we were not aware that our
rate may be changed.
Any future Solar installation will know the new rates if approved and have a choice to install or not.
I did not have that choice.
