Comment: "My name is Diane Stucker, I am a re�red elementary school librarian and office manager. My
husband and I worked hard to support a family and prepare for re�rement so we would not be a burden
to our children or our community. We, like many others our age, have chosen to install solar with funds
we set aside for our re�rement. We have diligently prepared to not be a burden to anyone as we live out
the rest of our lives.
What Idaho Power is asking you to approve will greatly harm those of us who have invested so heavily,
doing our part to stay self-sufficient and reduce the dependence on non-renewable energy sources.
Idaho Power’s desire to monopolize the power produc�on at our expense is the very reason the PUC
commission was established by our forefathers.
This request of Idaho Power’s will harm many of us elderly who have made solar energy a part of our
re�rement plans, thereby pu�ng a heavier burden on our descendants.
I am asking you to please deny Idaho Power’s request to do away with the one-to-one net metering we
now have.
