I'm against the rate changes to the solar net metering program. Years ago, I was going to put solar panels on my home and I called Idaho Power and they counseled me that I should wait due to an upcoming change. So I waited and the change caused me not to be grandfathered in. Idaho Power wants to go green, and it seems disingenuous to say that and then when an individual pays for the equipment and the massive up front costs they now want to change to harm the individual. Now that I am not grandfathered in, and aer a large investment they want to change the rules again. If I generate excess KWH's, I would love to have that excess go to my own power during the winter me, when my 2 panels don't generate as much. Every year I generate more than I use and I don't want to get paid for excess power generaon. Please just leave it alone with every KWH generated being equal to every KWH used. It seems fair since I actually am giving the ulity company excess energy. If Idaho Power is sincere with their goal to decrease fossil fuel use and going green, then they should not be pursuing the above case. Sincerely, Lane Durtschi" --------------------------------------------------------------
