Comment: "Hello, this is comment in reference to ID Powers proposed changes to the compensa�on
structure for onsite genera�on.

If the IPUC is actually considering this money and power (pun intended) grab by Idaho Power to increase
their shareholder profits and strengthen their monopoly, then:
The IPUC should grant legacy status to all customers who already have an approved energy genera�ng
system agreement with Idaho Power, not just pre 2020 systems. Net energy metering (NEM) was/is a
major factor when deciding to invest tens of thousands of dollars on these systems.
‘Real-�me billing’ should apply only to new systems not installed before the date of any IPUC decision in
Idaho Powers favor. This way, customers can include the new rates as part of their decision on whether
to invest in a solar or other energy genera�ng system.

Comment: "I generally oppose Idaho Power's request to transi�on from Net Metering to Net Billing.
Recognizing that the commitee is likely to approve this request, Idaho Power should be paying fair
prices for the excess generated power from solar customers. Our systems generate addi�onal power in

the summer, during peak hours when it is most needed by the grid. In my opinion, Idaho Power's efforts
will only diminish the move towards green energy in Idaho. "
