That's why it's crical for us to tell the PUC to once again hold mulple public hearings in cies across southern Idaho, AND offer a virtual opon. In this day and age, public agencies are more than capable of using soware like Zoom or WebEx to allow local residents to give virtual video tesmony and watch the hearing from their home, if they're not able to atend the hearing in-person. This is the case for many rural residents, elderly folks, disabled individuals, youth, families with young children, and people with limited transportaon opons, including low-income folks and undocumented Idahoans. All these people will be the most impacted by Idaho Power's proposal to make solar less affordable. They deserve the opportunity to make their voices heard with the decision-makers at the PUC." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Judy Foster Submission Time: Jul 5 2023 3:58PM Email: jayalf0@yahoo.com Telephone: 208-721-2532 Address: 2270 Winterhaven Dr. Hailey, ID 83333 Name of Ulity Company: Idaho Power Case ID: IPC-E-23-14 Comment: "Make public hearings regarding Solar more accessible." ------ htps://puc.intranet.idaho.gov/apps/intranet/Comment [Opens the PUC Intranet applicaon]
