Comment: "These comments are for case # IPC-E-23-14 Idaho Power is proposing that I pay for
consumed power on a �me differen�al but Idaho Power pay me the considerably lower wholesale rate
for excess power that I provide to grid. The power that I provide to grid is immediately available for
consump�on by other customers. Idaho Power can and should pay me for the power that I provide to
grid on same �me differen�al as they are charging me. I should be paid on �me differen�al at the �me
when I am providing power to grid. Other customers are not “subsidizing” my power by me being
charged and being paid using the same �me differen�al.
I would also find it acceptable to con�nue accruing a credit of kWh, providing I am never forced to
convert the kWh credit to $ at wholesale (not �me differen�al) rate.
Please consider that I am genera�ng solar power, so I am providing excess to grid, immediately available
for other customers, at the highest $ �me differen�al. At the �me that Idaho Power is cycling OFF air
condi�oners for AC Cool credit program, I am providing Idaho Power with excess from my solar system.
