In the brochure, it FAILED to mention a request to increase the monthly service/meter charge. That SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCLOSED in the same brochure. Please pay close attention to the full 598 page request from Idaho Power. That is where I found the monthly service/meter fee increase. I would like to inform the PUC Board that Idaho Power asked for and received a 15% reduction in their statewide operating property assessed value for 2023. It's a win-win for Idaho Power. Reduction in property tax and increase in revenue. Every property owner would like to receive a 15% reduction in their assessed value and receive a 10% or more increase in their income. Please think about the customers. Should Idaho Power customers pay the cost for Idaho Power's infrastructure? Will the customer benefit or the shareholders? My children just build a new home and the cost to have Idaho Power install a transformer and hook up the meter was over $20,000.00. It doesn't appear that Idaho Power is paying all the cost for expanding their infrastructure. Thank you for your consideration, time and allowing comments." ----------------------------------------------------------------------
