Comment: "Idaho Power's current 8+ % increase states that part of the jus�fica�on is because of the
increased cost of infrastructure. Yet at this �me they are in partnership with a government funded u�lity
in which Idaho Power Co. is to build a batery storage system to handle the wind genera�on and photo
cell technology.
Batery technology is very expensive and s�ll untested. Why is Idaho Power taking on the most expensive
and least reliable of that type of co-genera�on system? Is this really the place for Idaho Power, a public
u�lity to, spend it's rate increase and infrastructure expenses? Bateries are some of the hardest green
energy items to recycle."
