Comment: "I understand Idaho power is asking to raise rates. I understand the need to accommodate
growth in the treasure valley, but I am opposed to a rate increase for those of us who have lived here for
years and believe the increase should only affect those who have moved into the area during the last 10
years since they are the reason you feel you need to increase rates. There should be an impact fee
issued to newcomers to Boise. It is because of the popula�on growth that infrastructure becomes
insufficient. Residents who have lived in Boise for years should not have to incur that cost."
