IPC-E- 23-03. On February 16, 2023, Idaho Power Company (“Company”) applied to the Commission requesting approval of the Second Amendment (“Amendment”) to its Energy Sales Agreement (“ESA”) with Evergreen Energy, Inc1 (“Seller”) for the Tamarack CSPP project (“Facility”) located in Adams County, Idaho. The Amendment seeks to update the Seller’s name in the ESA from “Evergreen Energy Inc” to “Tamarack Mill, LLC”. Application at 3. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends of the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure setting a 21-day public comment deadline and 7-day party reply deadline. Application at 2. This decision memorandum refers to the current Seller as “Evergreen Energy, Inc” because that is the name that the Application’s quotation of the Amendment uses. Application at 3. “Evergreen Energy, Inc” also seems to be the relevant entity on the Idaho Secretary of State’s website.
