CASE NO. IPC-E-23-02
ERRATA TO IDAHO POWER
COMPANY’S APPLICATION
Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power” or “Company”) hereby respectfully submits
to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) this Errata to its Application in
this case filed on January 18, 2023, to make the following changes to help ensure clarity
of the record:
1. The Background section of the Company’s Application indicates
erroneously that the Bypass Hydro Project (“Facility”) is located on the Snake River; the
Facility is actually located on the North Side Canal Company’s main canal, which uses

water that is diverted from the Snake River for irrigation and generation. Accordingly, the
following change should be made to page 2, paragraph 1 of the Application:
READS:
1. Idaho Power and Seller (jointly, “Parties”) entered into an Agreement on
November 12, 1986 (“1986 Agreement”) for the purchase and sale of energy
produced by the Facility, a 9,960 kilowatt (“kW”) nameplate capacity hydroelectric
facility located on the Snake River, near Hazelton, Idaho. The 1986 Agreement
expires on May 31, 2023.

2. In addition, there is a typographical error in the description of the proposed
Energy Sales Agreement contained in the Application related to inadvertent energy. The
following change should be made to page 6, paragraph 16 of the Application:
READS:
16. As defined in paragraphs 1.24 and 4.1.4 of the ESA, the Seller will be
required to provide data on the Facility that Idaho Power will use to confirm that
under normal and/or average conditions, the Facility will not exceed 10 aMW on a
monthly basis. Furthermore, as described in paragraph 7.7 of the ESA, should the
Facility exceed 10 aMW on a monthly basis or 2790 kW on an hourly basis, Idaho
Power will accept the energy, defined as Inadvertent Energy, but will not purchase
or pay for it.

ERRATA TO IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S APPLICATION - 3
3. Finally, it has come to the Company’s attention that Section E-2 of Appendix
E (Base Energy Light Load Purchase Price) of the Energy Sales Agreement1 contains a
formatting issue in the pricing table on page 53 that makes it difficult to decipher some of
the data. As a result, for the sake of clarity, page 53 of the ESA attached to the Application
should be replaced with Attachment 1 to this Errata, which rectifies the formatting issue
but does not otherwise change the information set forth therein.
Respectfully submitted this 16th day February 2023.
MEGAN GOICOECHEA ALLEN
Attorney for Idaho Power Company
