I just wanted to lift up what Kelsey had shared last week on behalf of Idaho Sierra Club regarding the proposed schedule (pasted below). We'd be grateful if these concerns about the proposed schedule can be shared with and considered by the Commissioners at the decision meeting tomorrow. Farmers are a key stakeholder in this docket, and the timing of these public information and input opportunities are during a very busy time of the year for much of the farming community, limiting their availability to meaningfully participate. Pushing the dates back would make it much more accessible for interested and impacted farmers to communicate their feedback with the Commission, which we know the Commission wants to hear. We're hopeful that this can be taken into consideration when finalizing the schedule. Thank you! ___ Sierra Club can work with this timeline, and we appreciate the opportunities outlined for public input and information-sharing on this important docket. The timeline makes sense in order to reach a decision by the Company's proposed Effective Date of December 1, 2020. That said, we hope the Commission will take into consideration the difficulty that many irrigation customers (i.e. farmers) may have in meaningfully participating in the workshop, hearing, and written comment opportunities due to the nature of farming operations at that time of year. Pushing the public comment opportunities and Effective Date back a month or more could help ensure that affected irrigation customers who want to participate are better able to.
