Comment: "I am writing to request your disapproval of Idaho Power's request to change(REDUCE) the Export Credit Rate for solar panel generation. To pay less for the power that I
will have to buy back at a higher rate is unfair and shortsighted. When solar panels no longer provide a financial advantage no one will install them and the power grid will suffer as a
result. Idaho Power should be trying to expand the power supply to keep up with the increased demand that will continue into the foreseeable future. By creating a disincentive by reducing
the Export Credit Rate they will be eliminating a valuable resource for electricity generation. Electricity generated at no cost to IP, that is something that should be respected and
protected."
