Comment: "Residential solar systems are a huge investment by the homeowner that contribute energy to the grid. It is the responsibility of the residential owner to maintain and pay for their
solar system at their residence. I often hear the argument that solar owners get the benefit of the grid without paying the cost to maintain the grid. There is a monthly fee all users pay to be
connected to the grid. If this does not represent the true cost of being connected to the grid then change it for ALL grid customers. Solar owners can also help stabilize the grid if they
have a battery system. This is a huge future potential benefit. As a side note, I also own an EV. There is no incentive for me to charge when electric demand is low. Too much energy
generation at noon from solar? Make energy cheaper at this time. This is a missed opportunity. I can charge on a 105 degree day at 6PM at the same cost. "

Comment: "Good day. I'm writing to voice my support in leaving customer solar generationprogram to remain the same as it currently exists. There are several reasons why I feel this
way. The first is to support the planet and reduce our green house has emissions. Even Idahopower has declared they want to go green. Secondly, the customer needs to see a potential cost
benefit in putting solar panels on their home, otherwise why would they spend this high upfront cost. And finally it seems that Idaho power isn't really concerned with the idea of going
green, but keeping their monopoly of electricity generation in their hands and not allowingcustomers who want change faster to take a proactive approach. Please leave the net metering
program as is to help all of the planet and also protect the customers. Sincerely, LaneDurtschi"
