Greetings!
My name is Shiva Rajbhandari. I live at 721 Hearthstone Dr in Boise, and I’m a rising senior
at Boise High. I am very passionate about energy independence and equitable access to cleanenergy. I’m looking forward to giving comment at the upcoming PUC meeting to review the
VODER study results. Unfortunately, as a student, an athlete, and a part-time job holder,attending meetings on weekdays during the school year is very challenging for me. Public
meetings should be publicly accessible, and the previous meeting on net metering showed thatthis topic is highly relevant to many members of the public across many demographics in our
state. Hence, I’m writing to ask that the commission hold the public hearing on IPC-E-22-22on a weekend earlier in the day. Please let me know if that is possible.

As an Idaho resident who is interested in solar PV adoption, I am asking for you to hold a
public hearing concerning the changes to net metering in Idaho Power on a weekend duringthe afternoon. Such a schedule would allow more accessibility for people who work or have
school during the weekdays have their comments be heard. This would also prevent a hearingthat lasts too late into the night.
It is important that as many people as possible have the accessibility to attend such an
important hearing. Please hold the public hearing during the weekend and afternoon.

Hello,
My name is Sneha Sharma and I am a concerned resident of Boise.
Through my work with the Idaho Climate Justice League, I have become more aware about
the Idaho Power VODER (solar) study that was published earlier this year.
I feel that the citizens of Boise have been unable to have their voices properly represented inthese discussions and have one request: I would greatly appreciate it if you would be able to
make the public hearing in September more accessible to the citizens of Boise. I believe aSaturday in September starting at an earlier time would be beneficial for most citizens. The
last major solar hearing had many disappointed residents and the meeting lasted until 2 in themorning. I would love to see our Public Utilities Commissions do better and keep their
constituents’ opinions in mind.

Please hold the public hearing for this case on a weekend afternoon. This will make it more
accessible to people who work and have school during the weekdays, and also ensure that itdoesn't go until 2:00 am like the last major solar hearing.
I (and so many others) care about solar accessibility because we want clean energy and also it
will help people to save their money.

Power. Due to your public hearings being held on weekdays, many citizens of Boise may nothave the time to attend your public hearings. If the hearings were held on weekends, many
more residents will be able to have their voices heard. It would also be appreciated if thehearing could be scheduled at an earlier time to ensure that it does not go until 2 am like the
last hearing. There are so many residents of Boise who would like to have their voices heard,and would much rather prefer a more accessible weekend hearing.

Comment: "I don't get Idaho Power being able to grant me legacy status and say that the deal I got when I purchased my $55,000 solar system is now only good through 2045. The only
reason I bought the system was for a long term benefit, it will take that long just to have paid for itself and I won't start receiving a benefit until about that time. Now my expense for doing
that will have been in vain. We are encouraged to provide our own power as the federal government provided tax benefits to purchase our own power systems, and now their
effectiveness is being limited. That's wrong. There was no limit on the time frame when I purchased this system and there should NEVER be an expiration date. Not only that, Idaho
Power should not even been allowed to limit new systems that people want to build. We have issues with creating power and we have the ability to create it, we should be allowed to do so.

I am writing to ask you to please hold the public hearing about Solar Power and Idaho poweron a weekend. This is essential because most of the working class that this hearing affects
work jobs during the weekend and are unable to attend then hearing. It is important if everyindividual who is affected by this action that has a chance to attend and voice their concerns.
Having access to these type of events allows individuals to become informed on differentutilities that affect them. I care about solar accessibility because solar power is a clean way to
create energy. I understand the importance from an economic standpoint of the powerindustry, but giving opportunities for reimbursement of clean energy sources like solar gives
the public a more affordable way to help the planet.
