Comment: "The value of solar results of Idaho Power’s study are too low. Idaho Power failed to examine two important avoided costs of solar and its estimates for other avoided costs are
low and not in line with estimates from other similar studies. If Idaho Power’s study is accepted by the Commission, customers will have very little incentive to install solar and our
clean energy and energy democracy goals in Idaho will be severely threatened. The Idaho Powers VODER study did not include very important points that needed to be addressed: The
study underestimates several avoided costs of customer-owned solar including avoided generation capacity and avoided transmission and distribution costs The study fails to account
for the avoided environmental costs of installing more customer generated solar. I would hope the PUC takes this blatant lack of critical information into consideration when making their
decision. Thank you. "

Comment: "I received a letter from Idaho Power regarding the credit given for electricity generated by solar panels installed by the customers. While it may be true that we do not share
in the cost of maintaining power lines and staffing, etc., we have incurred the substantial cost of installing the solar panels and are generating electricity that Idaho Power can use with no
capital expenditure. We have invested in a generation project that Idaho Power can use with no concern for maintenance or useful lifespan. This should also be considered in any decision
regarding a reduction in the credit we receive for power generation. Once the decision has been made it will greatly affect the number of solar panels installed in the future and could
lead to a lack of power in critical periods."

Comment: "We've received a letter dated July 8, 2022. It has veiled language that seems to do all but say that there is a movement to pay the least amount possible for power generated by
homeowner's, one way or another. Having just spent an unreasonable amount of money to improve our power supply - with the thought that we would take a small amount of load from
the grid - I would want to feel rewarded and not penalized for the activity. I know that power provided to our home in the afternoon of the Summer is the most expensive I can buy...so it
seems I would want to be reimbursed for power generated at that time at a similar rate. Just do the right thing; everyone understands that. Thank you for providing great service to our home.

Comment: "We installed solar panels on our house in October 2020. The main reason we installed them was to save money in the long term from the energy our panels are creating. If
Idaho Power revises the current 1:1 KWH energy creation to a monetary system, which gives less money back to the consumer, our solar system no longer makes sense to have. The break
even point would likely exceed the lifetime of the system. This will be the case all over the state. I can't imagine anyone wanting to have a solar system if they won't save money in the
long term. With temperatures getting hotter and hotter each year, Idaho Power should be promoting the benefits of having solar energy. This proposal punishes the people who are
trying to do their part to improve the energy crisis, and I am not in favor of it. Thanks, Mike"
