IPC-E-22-13. On April 29, 2022, Idaho Power Company (“Company”) applied to the Commission for an order granting the Company a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to acquire 120 megawatts of dispatchable energy storage. The Company claimed acquiring the 120 megawatts of dispatchable energy storage was necessary to meet the identified capacity deficiency in 2023, and required to provide safe, reliable service to its customers. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention deadline.
