Comment: "Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship thinks community ownership of solar is apromising idea, we feel that customers are interested in this type of program, and that the
utility should think about ways to implement it. Idaho Power should work with communitygroups to develop a community owned solar subscription program. The goals of the program:
o Permit entities other than Idaho Power to install and own solar arrays (communityownership) o Promote the installation of solar arrays that are located within communities
(distributed generation) o Provide a mechanism for community members to subscribe to third-party owned solar o Support mechanisms within the subscription program that directly benefit
low-income customers The future of Idaho is linked to clean, renewable energy that isavailable to Idahoans at all income levels. Community solar programs offer these benefits.
