wasted energy problems. Our company is looking at Idaho as a great state to do business due to its regulatory, business-friendly environment. We hope to provide more clarity around
bitcoin mining. Bitcoin mining is a unique load that can be used as a battery or a load bank for utilities to help them manage their load during peak and non-peak hours. 24/7 power load with
a high load factor is the best power consumption for any power supplier to my knowledge. Crypto mining should not be portrayed as a power parasite on the contrary it is a symbiosis

Comment: "In response to the proposal of Schedule 20, I offer a warning as resident in a state that has grown increasingly hostile toward industrial growth: Do not make hasty decisions that
could kneecap the economic growth of your state, specifically in consideration of an industry valued around $2 billion today, and a projected $6 billion by 2028. Beyond economic
incentive to the state, bitcoin miners have repeatedly shown their ability to reinforce the grid (See: RIOT in Texas), whilst also seeking out sources of stranded energy that would otherwise
be wasted. As our society grows and larger demands for power need to be met, it would be a foolish venture to cripple those developing these technologies and operating these companies
that offer such high potential in the coming years. This is not an official opposition to Schedule 20; it is a request that both the Company and the greater State of Idaho conduct
further research into both the potential ramifications of Schedule 20, and benefits of allowing the free market to run its course."

Comment: "To whom it may concern, I am an Idaho native, a homeowner, and a real estate professional. I am also a "bitcoiner," and have spent around 500 hours studying this
revolutionary technology, including its material benefits to the development of efficient energy grids. In short, bitcoin mining is singularly unique in its ability to serve as an energy
buyer of last resort. Bitcoin miners are always looking for the cheapest, most reliable energy. If power providers are willing to sell at a contractually low rate, they can depend
upon bitcoin miners to maintain constant demand on the energy grid. This means that a power provider can overbuild capacity in high growth areas (like Boise and the Treasure
Valley) in anticipation of future demand, and always make a profit by selling that energy to bitcoin miners (albeit at a rate that is lower than retail). As more people move to the area
and demand energy for their homes/businesses, Idaho Power would already have the capacity available for them to buy at a higher rate than the bitcoin miners pay. The miners
may be incentivized to leave the area in search of low cost providers elsewhere. However, there is a benefit of keeping them around, namely, that during peak demand hours (morning
and, especially in the summer, evening) bitcoin miners can be programmed to shut off in response to demand on the grid. As the demand subsides, however, the miners can be
turned back on, thus providing a constant draw of energy--and therefore, a continual income stream--for Idaho Power. In this way, bitcoin miners both incentivize the
development of energy infrastructure to meet expected population growth, as well as serve to help balance energy demand by turning on and off as needed (see examples of bitcoin

Comment: "Bitcoin mining is the name given to the data centers that process transactions on the Bitcoin network. This is the first and still only decentralized network that is open to
everyone regardless of their race, color, gender, religion, location, etc. The nature of this network allows data centers to be placed on an energy asset to monetize that energy while
creating jobs in a completely new industry. 13 years the Bitcoin network has grown without a company or marketing team to the opportunity it is today. Outside of day to day operations of
a data center Bitcoin mining requires support from local welders, electricians, HVAC, fabrication, Engineering and more. Idaho is already home to fabrication companies that build
mobile data centers for these operations. GeoBitMine take this economic development a step further by utilizing waste heat from the datacenter operations to heat greenhouses that will
provide local produce year round! This adds more jobs and less imported produce from Mexico. Idaho and all states should support local entrepreneurs that are innovating to creat
