Comment: "I understand as a Blaine County resident I am being asked to pay extra tariffs on my utility bill for 20 years to pay interest of over $13 million to Idaho Power at a whopping
9.59% rate! That is a ridiculously high interest rate, as the Federal Reserve just today kept benchmark interest rates at near Zero! 0.25% the be exact. Why in the world would you
support such an exhorbitant interest rate for a utility! Or to allow a utility to make interest profit off of taxpayers and rate payers. This interest rate needs to be drastically reduced. AND
I do not support another transmission line in Blaine County as proposed by Idaho Power. I strongly support backup generators as an actual workable solution to power outages in Blaine
County versus a redundant line that will go down with all the power lines in our increasingly turbulent weather world. I do not want my electric bill dollars to be misspent which these
proposals will do. thank you. "
