Comment: "I am against the surcharge for all Blaine County residents for the undergrounding of a partial line into the Wood River Sun Valley area. We have several farms, irrigation
pumping stations and residences in the lower valley in Blaine County in Carey area. Why are we subjected to an additional cost for the beautification for the tourists in the Sun Valley area.
We have no use for this new line and it will not really be a benefit for us but it will increase our costs. It will average $150 a month for us. If they want to beautify their view they should
pay for it with their million dollar homes that are unlived in most of the year, the working class and agricultural people of the valley should not have to pay for it. We are happy with
overhead lines, easier to maintain. Everything in the south valley is practically overhead, not much complaining here. We ask you consider not approving this and sending it back to the
Blaine County Commission with a no, as it is not "tax" on the entire County."
