Comment: "I have noticed through their past actions that Idaho Power is not inclined to value the economic, environmental and quality of life benefits of residential solar production.
Regarding this case, I wanted to comment and request the following three points: - I hope an independent study will be conducted by an objective 3rd party -I hope environmental, health
and quality of life benefits of solar production are taken into account and valued by the study -I hope the value of distributed local power production is taken into account (ie grid
stabilization) Thank you! "

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission,
Although our household is considered low income, we have supported green power through Idaho Power billing
options. It is a goal to install solar panels in the future. We are very aware of the threat of climate change and want
to do whatever we can as individuals. Thank you for the consideration.
I?m an Idaho Power customer and I care about protecting every customer?s right to meet their own energy needs
through a fair rooftop solar program, which must be as affordable and accessible as possible. Please ensure that
Idaho Power?s ?value of solar? study is fair, accurate, thorough, and evaluates the wide range of benefits that local,
clean, customer-owned power provides to customers, the utility, and the public at large.
Sincerely,
Ruth Merrill

Comment: "I've lived in Idaho since 2005 and we need to do whatever we can to make solar more economical, efficient and cost effective for Idahoans. It should stay at a 1-to1 ratio for
KWh created by solar energy "

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission,
It is very important to me that we support solar as on of the critical elements in a zero carbon future. That includes
private home owners solar systems. Anything that can be done to encourage owners to support solar is very
important in continuing to build momentum.

Comment: "Regarding the study that Idaho Power is conducting into residential solar, I ask that the
cost of carbon or the environmental impacts of carbon based energy sources are considered in the
impact study. Looking at this through financial cost to Idaho Power alone without examining the
greater context of the benefits of non-carbon energy sources is inherently biased. Please ensure that
the study is unbiased, and takes into consideration carbon and cash costs."
