Stand up for solar! Case Number: IPC-E-21-21.

Dear Commission Secretary PUC,
Solar is an important player in Idaho’s clean energy future! And customer-owned energy
production benefits the community by strengthening local grids instead of relying on long-distance power lines. We must work together to ensure local, clean, customer-owned power is
an option for all Idahoans.

Dear Commission Secretary PUC,
Solar studies must accurately value the benefits of local clean energy production. Local, clean
energy benefits us all and plays an important role in working towards a clean energy future. I have heard that the reason the utility company wants to change the solar reimbursement rate
is because they have fixed costs that don't change. To me, the reasonable thing to do would beto raise the fixed price that is paid every month, not the price per watt. I hope that this is
addressed in the study.
