SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S APPLICATION
FOR A DETERMINATION OF 2020 DEMAND-SIDE MANAGEMENT
EXPENSES AS PRUDENTLY INCURRED; CASE NO. IPC-E-21-04.

On March 15, 2021, Idaho Power Company requested the Commission determine
$40,477,043 in Idaho Energy Efficiency Rider funds and $6,533,734 in demand response
program incentives, for a total of $47,010,777, were prudently incurred in 2020.
On April 6, 2021, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and set an April 27,
2021 intervention deadline. The order directed that “after the Notice of Parties has issued,
Commission Staff shall confer with the parties regarding a procedural schedule for this matter.”
Order No. 34986 at 3.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
After conferring with the parties, Staff recommends the Commission process this
matter by Modified Procedure, setting an August 2, 2021 comment deadline and an August 23,
2021 reply comment deadline.
