SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S APPLICATION FOR
APPROVAL OR REJECTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE
ENERGY SALES AGREEMENT WITH ID SOLAR 1, LLC; CASE NO. IPC-
E-20-38.
On December 11, 2020, Idaho Power Company applied to the Commission for approval
of an amendment to its Energy Sales Agreement with ID Solar 1, LLC (“ID Solar 1”). ID Solar 1
is a qualifying facility under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978. The proposed
amendment would allow ID Solar 1 to adjust its monthly estimated net energy amount by the 25th
day of each month, whereas the current provision requires ID Solar 1 to provide its monthly
estimated net energy amount one month in advance.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of
Modified Procedure and establish a 21-day comment deadline and a 7-day reply comment
deadline.
