Idaho Power needs to complete a valuation study of customer generated power like they did for residentialcustomers. Ag and commercial customers have the right to fair rules, to choose energy independence for their property, and stabilize their energy costs. Idaho Power should allowfarmers and families to meet their own energy needs. They also need to remove the arbitrary 100 kW maximum for net metering." ------[Open in the PUC Intranet application] From: To: Subject: Date: Scott Runkel <Scott Runkel <runkel1610@gmail.com>> Jan Noriyuki Solar for farmers Saturday, September 26, 2020 9:34:52 AM Hi PUC, I want to express my deep support for maintaining policies that allow farmers to benefit fromsolar. Farmers should be treated the same as residential customers, giving them 25 years of net-metering guaranteed. We need to encourage solar and other renewable energy throughoutthe state as we move towards a clean energy grid. Hindering that process and putting extra burden on farmers is not sound policy.
