COMMENT DEADLINES

ORDER NO. 34739

On March 13, 2020, Idaho Power Company (“Company”) applied to the Commission
for an order finding that the Company prudently incurred its 2019 demand-side management
expenses.
On April 6, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline setting a twenty-one (21) day intervention deadline. Boise City, Idaho
Conservation League, Industrial Customers of Idaho Power, and Idaho Irrigation Pumpers
Association intervened.
On May 6, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Modified Procedure setting an
August 13, 2020 public comment deadline and August 27, 2020 Company reply deadline.
On June 25, 2020, Commission Staff e-mailed its Third Production Request to the
Company and requested the Company submit its responses by July 16, 2020. The Company did
not respond by the requested date. Upon inquiry by Staff, the Company noted that the Staff’s Third
Production Request had not been received due to technological, not human, error. The Company
indicated it can fully respond to Staff’s Third Production Request by August 4, 2020.1 If this
occurs, the other parties would have an attenuated timeline to review the data and incorporate it
into their comments by the August 13, 2020 comment deadline.
Based on these facts, Staff recommended the Commission extend the public comment
and Company reply deadlines an additional two weeks. No one opposed the proposed extension.
NOTICE OF AMENDED COMMENT DEADLINES
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission finds it reasonable to extend
the public comment and Company reply deadlines, as requested, to give parties and the public
additional time to file comments and reply comments.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that any person desiring to state a position on
this Application must file a written comment in support or opposition with the Commission
by August 27, 2020.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Company must file any reply comments by
September 10, 2020.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that persons interested in submitting written comments
must do so by August 27, 2020. The Company must file any reply comments by September 10,
2020.
