Dear R. Idaho PUC,
it is so important to me that my power is "clean." I value clean air, water, and a stable climate and knowing that my
power contributes to the degradation of all of these is deeply disturbing. I believe this transition , ASAP, would not
cost more money, but recognizing that some assets would be los and that could increase power costs. I would be
willing to pay extra for my power, if necessary.
Please put a plan in place to achieve this goal by 2035 at the latest. Let us know what it would cost and let your
customers decide. You will surprised at the outpouring of support for your efforts.
Protecting the environment is good business.
Thank you
I support Idaho Power's move toward 100% Clean Energy in its latest Integrated Resource Plan. I hope the PUC
will urge Idaho Power to 1) Speed up its plan to achieve 100% clean energy, including earlier exits from its coal
plants and gas plants; 2) Invest in local clean energy projects (NOT new gas plants) that benefit Idaho?s economy;
and 3) Give customers and communities a fair chance to own their own solar energy systems.
Sincerely,
Scott Runkel

Dear R. Idaho PUC,
Idaho power should aim to go off of non-renewable fuels quicker such as methane instead of waiting to 2045. Using
methane to is more damaging to the climate instead of carbon dioxide. Studies show that leaks in the distribution
system still add up. Sourcing methane from any source that involved fracking has its own problems. This includes
ground water contamination, made made earthquakes, and gas well blowouts.
With the abundance of sun in Idaho more investments should be made in community based solar projects.
I support Idaho Power's move toward 100% Clean Energy in its latest Integrated Resource Plan. I hope the PUC
will urge Idaho Power to 1) Speed up its plan to achieve 100% clean energy, including earlier exits from its coal

Dear R. Idaho PUC,
No need for coal or methane or fracking now that clean energy has reached parity. Most important: nuclear is extinct
and defunct also bankrupt. Let?s make our cities green w electric buses and city vehicles. Fuel cell - hydrogen even
better! It?s time.

Dear R. Idaho PUC,
I am urging Idaho PUC and Idaho Power to prioritize and support 100and clean and renewable energy for all. This is
important to me because we need to stop using fossil fuels that pollute our air and are directly affecting climate
change. Invest in local clean energy projects, not new gas plants. Give customers and communities a fair chance to
own their own solar energy systems. And speed up the plans to achieve 100% clean energy, including earlier exits
from coal and gas plants. Thank you.

Dear R. Idaho PUC,
Clean, renewable energy and energy efficiency is cheaper than coal and natural gas power, and customers like
myself want a clean power grid that helps build a green economy and mitigates the ever-worsening impacts of the
climate crisis. It is of utmost importance for future generations that we make progress NOW.
I urge you to please:
- Speed up the plan to achieve 100% clean energy, including earlier exits from its coal plants and gas plants
- Invest in local clean energy projects (NOT new gas plants) that benefit Idaho?s economy
- Give customers and communities a fair chance to own their own solar energy systems
