Please continue to accelerate the pace of divesting from fossil fuels. A clean grid by 2035 is a worthy goal as I would like to see it in my lifetime. With a clean grid, we can move more appliances, cars, buses, heating systems onto the grid. Thank you. Climate change continues to be a huge concern. Drought, catastrophic wildfires and mega-storms threaten our health, safety, and food production. Idaho Power is moving in the right direction, but not fast enough. Shifting from coal to gas is a waste of money. We need investment in renewable energy and clean energy jobs. And weneed to encourage home-based power generation via rooftop solar and wind. Idaho Power's shrinking compensation to customers who GIVE power to the grid during peak load times is a slap in the face for those of us who have invested significant money in theirhome-based systems. Our family is working hard to pay off a large loan on our solar system, and Idaho Power should be appreciative of our willingness to bolster their grid out of ourpockets. Clean energy is cost competitive with fossil fuels. Bymoving to more clean energy will not cause cost increases for custumers like me. I'm pleased that IPC is getting out of coal fired plants and urge you to get out of gas fired plants. Given the current market, I think IPCo can do a better and faster job transitioning not only away from coal power but away from fossil fuels in general. With a more open and supportiveconsumer solar policy (net metering) and an open call for distributed energy resources (DERs) IPCo could drive renewable development within Idaho with both wind and solar. There couldbe partnerships forged to integrate batteries into the grid on residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale levels. This would benefit all by providing regular, deployable, anddistributed energy throughout the state. There is so much potential for renewable energy sources in Idaho it would be a shame not to take this opportunity to utilize them fully, and in a manner that stimulates job creation at thesame time. Wind/solar/battery project construction requires short and long-term skilled positions, which would help bring Idaho's labor force into the 21st century as well as helpraise the paycheck average from the abysmal national average of number 43 of 52 (including DC and PR). Idaho is not alone in needing an economic recovery, and this could be a lastingvehicle for that recovery - potentially even turning Idaho into a net exporter of energy to other markets. Economics is driving a shift to renewables world-wide, with an added benefit of renewableenergies helping contribute to cleaner air, which all of us in Idaho enjoy. Let's keep it that way, and make Idaho even greener than ever. Thank you for your time.
