Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and I support clean energy because it is sustainable and will
help reduce atmospheric CO2 concentrations that directly contribute to global warming.Without question, a warming climate threatens stronger storm damage and wildfire risks and is
fueling heat and drought stress on our crops and livestock. Idaho's economy and ecosystem areequally threatened by increasing greenhouse gas emissions that are directly contributing to
adverse climate change.

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and I support clean energy because our resources are finite and
fossil fuel consumption has an adverse impact on the environment/climate. I would like to seeindividual home solar systems encouraged. Home solar systems should not be discouraged and
people doing such installations should not be discriminated against. Thank you.

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and the owner of a 4 kw solar system that I installed in 2015. I
log the energy output of my system and, using IPCo rates, calculate my energy cost savingsand system payback. Under Idaho Power's net metering my system has a rate of return of
about 6%, or about 16 year return on investment. Obviously I didn't install the system becauseof massive dollar savings, rather I installed my solar system because everyone has to do their
part to reduce carbon emissions and help to save our planet for our children and grandchildren.I urge IPUC to reject any rate design proposals from Idaho Power that would discourage the
growth of customer solar generation.

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and I support clean energy because we are facing an existential
threat to our planet by global warming. We are seeing extreme weather conditions. We arehaving devastating dry conditions which contribute to massive uncontrollable wildfire. We
have lost our sources of clean cold water and are losing our salmon. We have lung destroyingsmoke and air pollution.
Our economy can invest in new clean sources of energy like solar and wind and reduce ouruse of fossil fuel or other environmentally unsound sources such as hydroelectric. We can
incentivize conservation. We can and must hurry to move away from fossil fuels completely. If it comes from the ground leave it in the ground.
Sincerely,Martha Bibb

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and I actively support clean energy and am proud to be a Green
power purchaser for my household. I greatly appreciate this program offered by Idaho Powerto give customers more control over the sourcing of the power they use. I also appreciate
Idaho Power's innovative residential energy programs to help customers become more energyefficient, including the energy audit program and conservation kit. I am disappointed that
Idaho Power is not more proactive on the use of customer owned/operated solar energy. I'dlike to see Idaho Power be more of a partner with their customers in utilizing individual solar
systems to increase power, including grid tie in and purchasing surplus power from users thatcan then be sold to other users who want to buy renewable sourced energy but cannot install
their own solar systems. I would prefer to see a long term plan that preferences hyper local, self sustaining energy sources.

Dear Idaho Public Utilities Commission:
I am an Idaho Power customer and I support clean energy because my 9 month old deserves to
live in a culture that preserves all natural resources and live with intention to support thelivelihoods of not only her generation, but the generations ahead of her! Coal and gas burning
has no use in the modernized world and I ask as a customer that you begin developing a moreaggressive sustainable path to clean energy.
