BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

On June 28, 2019, Idaho Power Company (“Company”) filed an Application requesting
the Commission acknowledge the Company’s 2019 Integrated Resource Plan (“IRP”).
On July 19, 2019, the Company filed a letter with the Commission stating it would need
to file a supplemental analysis to confirm the findings of its IRP. The Company anticipated it
would submit its amended IRP by October 31, 2019.
On August 13, 2019, the Commission issued a Notice of Application. Order No. 34410.
On October 28, 2019, the Company filed a letter with the Commission revising its
estimated filing date to November 8, 2019.
On November 8, 2019, the Company filed a letter with the Commission revising its
estimated filing date to January 31, 2020.
On January 31, 2020, the Company submitted its amended 2019 IRP.
On March 4, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Amended Integrated Resource
Plan and Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 34572. Idaho Conservation League,
IdaHydro, Industrial Customers of Idaho Power, Stop B2H Coalition, Micron Technology, Inc.,
and Sierra Club timely intervened.
After the intervention deadline, Commission Staff informally conferred with the parties
regarding procedure and schedule and presented the parties’ recommendation to the Commission
at the May 5, 2020 Decision Meeting.
The Commission now issues this Notice of Modified Procedure establishing comment
deadlines.

interest may not require a formal hearing in this matter, and that it will proceed under Modified
Procedure pursuant to Rules 201 through 204 of the Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that anyone desiring to state a position on this
Application must file a written comment in support or opposition with the Commission by
July 22, 2020. The written comment must contain a statement of reasons supporting it. Persons
desiring a hearing must specifically request a hearing in their written comments. Written

without a formal hearing. If written comments are received within the time limit set, the
Commission will consider them and, in its discretion, may set the same for a formal hearing.

O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Application of the Company be processed by
Modified Procedure, Rule 201-204 (IDAPA 31.01.01.201-.204). Persons interested in submitting
written comments must do so by July 22, 2020. The Company must file any reply comments by
August 26, 2020.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that parties should continue to comply with Order No.
34602, issued March 17, 2020. All pleadings should be filed with the Commission electronically
and shall be deemed timely filed when received by the Commission Secretary. See Rule 14.02.
Service between parties should also be accomplished electronically. Voluminous discovery-related
documents may be filed and served on CD-ROM or a USB flash drive.
