2019lntegrated Resource Plan ("lRP") - Procedural Schedule
Dear Ms. Hanian:
Subsequent to the filing of ldaho Power Company's ("ldaho Power" or "Company")
2019 !RP, the Company has identified the need to perform supplemental analysis related
to the capacity expansion modeling approach utilized for the first time in the 2019 analysis
in order to confirm the accuracy of the IRP's conclusions and findings. ldaho Power
anticipates that the required supplemental analysis will be substantia! and time
consuming. At this time, the Company estimates that this additional work can be
completed-and filed for ldaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") and party
review following consultation with its IRP Advisory Council-by October 31,2019. For
these reasons, ldaho Power suggests that the Commission refrain from setting a
schedule in this docket until after the filing is made.
The Company apologizes for the delay but believes that the supplemental analysis
is required to ensure the accuracy of the IRP's findings, and wi!! result in a sound basis
for the Company's continued resource planning efforts.
