Comment: How is it that ldaho Power states their commitment to clean energy and at the same time discourage
consumers to install solar energy systems. First, net metering customers are working to delay the need to construct
additional power plants or purchase additional power for fossil fuel plants, especially with the number of people moving
into the valley. Second, how fair is it punish the individuals who have already made a substantial financial commitment
with a solar installation. (l spent over 18,000) Finally, this proposal will discourage job creation and probably affect
current jobs in this nascent industry. NOT FAIR NOT RIGHT!!

As a new retiree, I invested money I have now to pay for my electricity in the future. lt's a personal investment but it's
also an investment in my community. Nuclear power is not "clean". Hydro is causing damage to the salmon migration.
Wind is ugly. Solar is clean, free, and hidden.
Please continue to hold ldaho Power accountable to paying us for any extra power we produce at the same rate we buy
extra from then. lt's only fair.
