With this Order the Commission notifies interested persons that the Company has filed the Petition,sets deadlines by which interested persons may intervene,and initiates a process to determine the procedural and substantive scope of the docket,proposed schedule,and other matters. NOTICE OF PETITION YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Idaho Power's Petition asks the Commission, according to Order No.34046,to "initiate a docket to comprehensively study the costs and benefits of on-site generation on Idaho Power's system,as well as the proper rates and rate design, transitional rates,and related issues of compensation for net excess energy as a resource to the Company."Petition at 2,citing Order No.34046 at 31.In that Order,the Commission indicated that the docket should include all net-metering interests with a focus on Idaho Power's systems, costs,benefits,resources,and tariffs.Petition at 2;Order No.34046 at 23. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED Idaho Power states that,once a docket is initiated and intervention finalized,Order No.34046 requires that parties "meet in an effort to agree on the scope of proper procedural and substantive elements of the on-site generationdocket,for approval by the Commission,"with a deadline.Petition at 2 citing Order No.34046 at 23. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has jurisdiction over this matter under Title 61 of the Idaho Code.The Commission may enter any final order consistent with its authorityunder Title 61.
