SUBJECT:IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S APPLTCATION FOR AN ORDER
APPROVING THE TRANSFER AND SALE OF CERTAIN ASSETS TO
JAYCO, INC.; CASE NO. IPC-E-18-10.
On June 6, 2A18, Idaho Power Company, ("Company''), filed an Application
requesting authority to sell and transfer certain assets to Jayco, Inc. ('Jayco"), under its Asset
Purchase and Transfer of Title Agreement, Idaho Code $$ 6l-328 and 6l-524, and Rule of
Procedure 052. Application at l. Pursuant to ldaho Code $ 6l-328, Idaho Power requests that
the Commission approve the sale and transfer of property and to process the Application by
Modified Procedure. Id. at 4.
THE APPLICATION
Idaho Power's Application states that it provides electric service at Jayco's
manufacturing facility in Idaho Power's service tenitory. Id. al2. Idaho Power states that it
owns and operates transformers and other facilities beyond the point of delivery ("POD") for the
sole purpose of meeting Jayco's specific service requirements. Id. Jayco pays ldaho Power a
monthly facilities charge to provide this optional service. /d.
Jayco has requested that ldaho Power sell the Assets described in Exhibit A to the
Application to it under the Asset Purchase and Transfer of Title Agreement (Attachment I to the
Application), and according to Idaho Power's Rule M. /d. Upon approval of the transfer and the
closing of the sale Jayco would own all facilities installed beyond Idaho Power's current POD.

The Company's Application includes a sale price methodology and accounting
treatment when determining sale prices for customers electing to purchase Company-owned

facilities under Rule M. Exhibit B to the Application provides a breakdown of the total purchase
price of $44 ,582. Id. at 5- I I ; and Exhibit B.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Application be processed by Modified Procedure with a
comment deadline of August 14,2018, and a reply deadline of August 21,2018.
