PERFORMANCE BAND AND )CALCULATION OF OPERATION AND )MAINTENANCE CHARGES FOR PURPA )QUALIFYING FACILITIES )ORDER NO.34146
On April 16,2018,Idahydro,Shorock Hydro,Inc.,the J.R.Simplot Company,and the
Renewable Energy Coalition jointly petitioned the Commission to modify,amend,or stay existing
orders or rules,and to clarify rights and obligations implementing Section 210 of the Public Utility
Regulatory Policies Act of 1978,16 U.S.C.§824a-3 et seq.On May 30,2018,the Commission set
an intervention deadline and directed the parties to confer about a case schedule.Tamarack Energy
Partnership and Avista Corp.intervened.The parties met and conferred,as directed.Before a
scheduling agreement could be reached,Idaho Power announced it would file a cross-petition.The
parties agreed to suspend discussions until they had a chance to review the cross-petition.
Idaho Power filed its cross-petition on July 25,2018.On August 8,2018,J.R.Simplot
Co.filed an UnopposedMotion to Stay Proceedings.On August 15,2018,the Commission granted
the motion and stayed further proceedings and deadlines until September 12,2018.
On September 11,2018,J.R.Simplot Co.filed an Unopposed Motion to Extend Stay
of Proceedings (the "Motion").The Motion requests the Commission stay all pending deadlines
and proceedings for an additional 21 days or until the Commission grants any party's motion to
lift the stay within the 21 day time period.Furthermore,Petitioners represent that they agree with
Idaho Power to extend all pending deadlines for an additional seven days after the stay is lifted.
Staff recommended the Commission grant the Motion.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
The Commission has reviewed and considered the Motion and applicable rules,
including Comm ssion Rules of Procedure 56 and 256.03,IDAPA 31.01.01.56 and 256.03.Based
on the filings of record,we find it reasonable to extend the stay.

ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Motion is granted.All proceedings and deadlines
in this matter are stayed until the earlier of October 10,2018,or when the Commission grants a
party's motion to lift the stay.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all deadlines in this matter are tolled for an additional
seven days after the stay is lifted.
