Comment: Net metering is a win-win for ldaho citizens economically, and the state of ldaho environmentally. The energy
that ldaho residents save by solarizing is THEIR energy, not ldaho Power's. THEY generated it, not ldaho Power. lt
makes no sense that ldaho Power feels entitled to purloin this energy, when it has the capability to resell it and return to
customers the money that they have saved lP by generating this power. That seems like the type of ethically
unconscionable behavior that a unregulated monopoly might exhibit in direct opposition to the public interest.
I am relieved that the ldaho PUC is the watchdog for this type of bad behavior, which is against the public interest, both
economically and environmentally.
