SUBJECT: JOINT APPLICATION OF IDAHO POWER AND UNITED ELECTRIC
CO-OP TO APPROVE A CUSTOMER ALLOCATION AGREEMENT,
CASE NO. IPC-E-16-29
On November 22, 2016, Idaho Power and United Electric Co-op, Inc. filed a joint
Application requesting that the Commission approve a Customer Allocation Agreement between
the two companies. Application at 1-2. The agreement concerns a property in Idaho Power's
service territory that borders the United Electric service territory and has not previously been
provided with electric service. On December 21, 2016, the Commission issued a Notice of
Application and Order setting an intervention deadline of October 4, 2016, and that Staff develop
and recommend a comment schedule once the intervention deadline has passed. Staff now
requests that the Commission order that this matter be processed by Modified Procedure, and set
comment and reply deadlines.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that this matter be processed by Modified Procedure. Staff further
recommends that the Commission set a February 7, 2017 comment deadline, and a February 14,
2017 reply deadline. The Company agreed with this timeline.
