I am a resident of Blame County.Please be advised that I am strongly opposed to proposed new“redundant”transmission line in Blame County.There are many reasons for my opposition andconcern.My main points are as follows:
1.The existing line is extremely reliable and if needed IPC can rebuild/improve the existing line.2.Redundancy will not increase grid resiliency nor addresses the need for backup emergencygeneration.
3.There has not been sufficient analysis for alternatives to this new proposed line.4.The cost of a new line will be a huge cost to the local comm unites.
5.The new line will be an “eyesore”and “if”and “when”it is needed should be installedunderground.
