Comment: It is essential in the interest of public safety and our local economy that we have a redundant electrical
supply line into the north wood river valley. In addition to dramatically minimizing the likelihood of an emergency
outage which, would be particularly disastrous here in the winter, it would allow for the necessary maintenance of the
existing aging line without outage. The voices opposing the new line are the same ones that object to everything ever
suggested that would change the valley from the way it was when they arrived here regardless of when that was or what
the nature of the change proposed might be, ignore them and approve the building of this line.
