Thank you for yotr letter and worksheets dated May 27,20l6,inwhich you provided the
Surrogate Avoided Resource avoided cost rates which hal'e been updated to incorporate the
release of a new natural gas price forecast by EIA.
PacifiCorp has reviewed staff s update to the SAR model incorporating EIA's gas forecast and
the resulting published avoided cost rates. This letter acknowledges that the prices have been
updated correctly and that the Company accepts the new schedules as accurate.
