Comment:I am encouraged by Idaho Power’s plan to begin weaning itself from coal and beginning to see the light
shining on solar power.I think Idaho Power should embrace all methods of solar electricity generation including small
rooftop units as well as large-scale solar plants.The Boardman-Hemingway line does make some sense if it brings wind
generated power to Idaho from Washington and Oregon.
We in Idaho enjoy a majority of sunny days,most of those in the summer when electricity demand is greatest.It only
makes sense to utilize the sun to the maximum extent for power generation.
