BOISE, ldaho, April 15, 2015 -- Today ldaho Power filed its annual Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) with the ldaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC). lf the PCA proposal is approved by the IPUC, the amount ldaho customers pay for electric service will decrease by $10.1 million beginning June 1. Over the past PCA year (April 2OL4 - March 20L5) revenue from the PCA tracked more closely with actua! power supply costs resulting in a lower proposed collection through this year's PCA. The typical ldaho residential customer using 1,050 kilowatt-hours of energy per month will see a decrease of about 50.47 on their monthly bill. lncluded in the PCA calculations, customers wil! receive 58 million in revenue sharing, which is S+00 thousand more than last year. Neither ldaho Power nor its shareholders receive any financial return on this filing-money collected from the surcharge can be used only to pay power supply expenses.
