Comment:Dear Commissioners and Staff,
This is an interesting case.A technical hearing I believe would be helpful.A public hearing
might not be needed.
Solar generation is uniquely suited for Idaho because all of its generation happens during
pealf hour uses during the peak season.Long term it is likely solar generation will provide
most of the electricity generation in the world because it is the most economical form of new
generation.
Please consider encouraging Idaho Power Company to install pilot storage projects.The price
of utility size storage is following the same price drop that solar PV has experienced.
