Re:Idaho Power FCA rate increase proposal
To whom it may concern:
Based on the profitability of Idaho Power we do not believe an increase for
fixed costs is appropriate at this time and It is my hope that their proposal
will be rejected.
If their fixed costs for personnel were to increase SIGNIFICANTLY for an
additional number of clerks available to handle turn on’s and turn off’s of
residential service there might be a justification for their proposal.I submit
that the increase in new users and their marginal contribution to profit will
be sufficient,in the main,to cover minor increases in fixed costs.
Does the IPUC audit of Idaho Power indicate an increase in fixed costs
based on the operations of that company? We would like to examine the
audit report that justifies such increase.
Sincerely,
Fràtricia Hess
