Comment:I would like to express my support for Idaho Power and providing cheap electricity.
I support their maintaining the coal plants and upgrades.The plants are in place and must
be maintained to remain in operation.I believe coal is still viable power source and wind
and solar are not reliable or cost effective for large power generation yet.

Comment:I strongly urge the PUC to not put ratepayers on the hook for Idaho Power’s risky
investments in aging coal plants.It’s BEYOND high time we invest in clean (CLEAN)energy,
and aging coal plants are an insane way to continue offering power--they are enormous money
sinks,extremely dirty,and they perpetuate an approach that is literally killing people and
the planet.MOVE BEYOND this insanity.Thank you for the chance to comment.
