I received a letter from Hilex Poly,a manufacturing company in Jerome expressing disappointment in
the 22%power adjustment rate effective June 1.You may have already received communications
from other legislators concerning this Business.(Hilex Poly,101 F Carolina Ave.Hartsville,SC 29550)
In that letter they urged that the rates be reconsidered.During the review process,mitigation over 2-3
years was considered and would have helped businesses better deal with this sudden increase in
expenses.I suspect you have given this option considerable thought,but if there is any way we can
spread this over a longer period to decrease the considerable pressure this increase puts on all Idaho
businesses I would support that type of change.
