I do not think they should charge us so' much and then give money away for charities and programs. That doesn't seem legal to me. I think charities are good, but I shouldn't be forced to give through Idaho Power. I can't even be eligible for the programs, I don't have central air, but I am forced to pay for an incentive program. I think it is ridiculous that their service charge is $5.00 every month. I also think that it isn't right to show a chart to display the differences in actual and projected and then not have both charts showed in the same order. I don't have a choice of another power company, so please don't just say yes. Enough is enough. Please consider the salaries of the top officers in Idaho Power compared to average wages and social security payments to our Seniors. If Idaho Power needs more money, possibly they could ask the top executives to feel the pinch instead of asking people in the lowest incomes to do so. The economy, wages, & social security payments are not improving, & yet Idaho Power wants to raise rates for people who can hardly make ends meet now.
