Public Utilities Commission,
Please deny Idaho Power company request for an 8% rate increase. I am a low-income worker
barely making ends meet; the power company request is understandable. However, increasing the
average customer's rate by seven dollars is not in my budget. I understand that they probably
need the cash to operate, and buy power from other sources. They should look at other ways to
save money like everyone else.

I am complaining about the price hike that idaho power wants for the up coming year.
I hope the commission will block this hike. For my wife and I it is going to be hard enough
to afford power this year but to have an increase we will not be able to afford. If it is not
electric price hike it is natural gas. Please block it.

Idaho Power wants an 8% rate Increase? How many Idaho residents got an 8% raise last year?
Certainly that corporation can afford the cost better than the average Idahoan. Please do the
right thing and turn down Idaho Power Co.!
