PURSUANT TO Idaho Public Utilities Commission Rule 43 and Idaho Bar Commission
Rule 227, the undersigned local counsel, John R. Hamond, Jr. hereby petitions the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission ("Commission") for admission of Kurt J. Boehm, the undersigned applying
counsel, for the purpose of the above-captioned matter.
Kurt J. Boehm certifies that he is an active member in good standing with the bar of the
state of Ohio; that he maintains the regular practice of law at the above-noted address; and that

he is neither a resident of the state of Idaho nor licensed to practice law in Idaho. He further
certifies that he was previously admitted pro hac vice in the State of Idaho in 2008 for a case
before the Commission, In the Matter of Idaho Power Company for Authority to Increase Rates
for Electric Service to its Customers in the State of Idaho, Case No. IPC-E-8-1O;1 and also
certifies that he has neither been denied admission under IBCR 227 in this jursdiction, nor under
any similar rule in any other jurisdiction.
Undersigned counsel certify that a copy of this Motion has been served on all other
paries to the above-captioned matter and that a copy of the Motion, accompanied by a fee of
Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for the applicant, has been provided to the Idaho State Bar.
John R. Hamond, Jr. certifies after reasonable investigation that the above information
is true to the best of his knowledge. Furher, he acknowledges that pursuant to IBCR 227, his
attendance shall be required at all Commission proceedings at which Applying Counsel appear,
unless specifically excused by the Commission. In this regard, John R. Hammond, Jr. hereby
respectfully requests that the Commission excuse him from having to appear durng Commission
proceedings for the above-captioned matter unless needed by Kroger, Inc.
WHEREFORE, by this Motion, John R. Hamond, Jr. respectfully requests that the
Commission pedorm the following:
1. Authorize Kur J. Boehm to paricipate in all proceedings before the Commission
with respect to the above-captioned matter;
2. Authorize Kurt J. Boehm to paricipate in all proceedings before the Commission
that involve Kroger, Inc. during the 2011 calendar year ending December 31, 2011, as
allowed for by Idaho Commission Rule of Procedure 31.01.01.043.05.a; and
i Mr. Boehm was admitted pro hac vice pursuant to IBeR 222 which was amended and redesignated as meR 227.

3. Grant John R. Hamond, Jr.'s request to be excused from having to appear durg
Commssion-related proceeings with respect to the above-captioned matter uness
